| I was the Placer County Sheriff Search & Rescue Coordinator that lead many of the searches to find Christie. Christie was the first person that I was not able to find in 17 years of locating lost or missing people. Even though I did not find Christie, I had the ultimate satisfaction of being one of the deputies that took Garcia to his new home in the state prison system on January 11th, within an hour of his sentencing.
God Bless!

| The holidays for most of us are joyous times for families to get together and celebrate. With Christie still missing, this time of year will bring the family little joy. The murderer not only destroyed your family's lives, but he also destroyed his own family's lives, as well. I can't imagine what his thoughts are like. Who would want to? At least he is not free to "celebrate" with his family.
Mr. and Mrs. Boyd, plus all family members, never give up hope that Christie will be found and laid to rest. She was a very beautiful girl with an infectious smile. I will check back often for updates and new searches that might resume.
May the God you probably feel deserted you be with you during this difficult season without Christie.

| Pat, Debbie and Family,
Just because the trail hype has ended, my thoughts and prayers have not. I still check out this site for anything new. Please keep us posted on searches. I pray you have found minimal relief just knowing your hard work and love for Christie put Mario where he belongs(ok, the next best place for him).God Bless you all. |

| Christie is a beautiful girl. I am also the sister of a missing loved one and can totally understand the hurt and frustrations of not being able to recover a body during a search. It is touch enough to loose a person that is loved so dearly but it is worse when you don't have a graveside to visit. I sympathize with your situation. Be grateful that you have someone convicted of the crime and every day that he sits in jail he will be reminded of Christie and the crime that he committed. Never give up hope, I won't in looking for Kim. Please visit her site at www.freewebs.com/find-kim/ |

| Debbie, Pat, and Family--
I am glad that your love for Christie helped keep you strong through this tragedy. Your persistence and strength paid off and every citizen within Garcia's sphere of influence owes you gratitude as *they* could have been yet another victim of Mario Garcia.
NOW we need to use every possible resource, method, and type of persuasion to finally bring Christie home. |
