Pat, Debbie and family, As the days are getting closer to that dreaded day, I am thinking of all of you and hold you near to my heart in prayer. I cant imagine your loss ever getting easier but I pray for the day that you find peace in your hearts. May the good times out weigh the bad and her contagious smile lift your hearts.

Does anyone know where on Hwy 49 Garcia made the 2 phone calls to his wife the day of Christie's disappearance? It would be really helpful in my undying search for her.

My brothers son was murdered in Ontario. He was 14. We are still in court. Here in Canada the justice system is more lax and sentences do not fit the crimes. I would like to say sorry over your loss too!

Debbie, A mother (and father) should never endure the pain that you have had. I pray for you and your family daily and families like yours who have also lost a child. Our legal system needs changing so we can lock up creeps like Mario before they take a beautiful life. This tragedy should never been allowed to happen and I am sorry that a part of your life/heart has been taken away.

I just watched the show on the tv about Christie's case. The man that was found guilty deserves everything he got from the courts. I think anybody who sympathises with him is blind to the evidence presented. I hope that you find peace one day and maybe if God permits find out where she is.

I am from Australia and i just saw a story about Christie tonight, I had tears for her family. I am so glad that her attacker has been brought to justice, I will be praying from my little corner of the world that Christie is soon found. xx

Hi, my name is Lindsey and I am studying to get my criminal justice degree. I live in Placer County and followed Christie's story as it unfolded. I have been to Thunder Valley many times. Now one of my instructor's in school is Bob McDonald, the lead detective in Christie's case. I have learned a lot about Christie and what happened to her from the people that helped convict Mario Garcia. I am sorry for your loss. I will always have a special place in my heart for Christie. Last week I had a guest speaker in one of my classes, and that was the lead D.A. in Christie's case. I thanked him for putting that man away. I hope we can find Christie and put her spirit to rest. God bless her family, may god be with you.
